About Julia Vahry – Managing Director
Described as being a quirky, fun, intelligent professional with a very diverse range of skills.
Nearly 10 years as a sworn Police Officer, specialising on the front line in New Zealand, investigations, emergency response running police informants and commendations for her actions in high profile events and cases.
One of the go-to brokers in New Zealand for media to contact for comment regarding risk insurance matters.
Julia has a significant online following, with her story telling and drive to positively impact 100,000 Kiwi’s in the next 2 years.
Julia is well on her way, creating online impressions of well over one million with her passion for positive people outcomes.
Outside of insurance, Julia was appointed the as the Kid’s Fishing Ambassador for the iconic Tongariro National Trout Centre due to her passion for building positive, memorable, natural experiences for our tamariki.
Julia is a member of the Institute of Directors and in November 2022, she was appointed as a Board Member for Animal Evac New Zealand, a non-profit, who specialise in the recovery of animals in natural disasters.
Julia has performed on a national stage in track cycling, cross country mountain biking and freestyle skiing as an Ambassador for Rossignol.
It is never about awards or recognition, to us it is about people and the community, but getting awards shows we are on the track to getting it right.
In April 2023, Julia was awarded as a winner for Elite Women, described as being influential and progressive in her industry.
In September 2023, Julia was the finalist in the world's most popular reality TV series The Traitors NZ.
